Drinking more water every day can help you feel more energized, improve digestion, and even support your mood. In this section, you'll find simple and fun ways to drink more water witout giving up the drinks you enjoy.

Smart Drinking Choices for Staying Hydrated.

Water is great, but it's not the only way to stay hydrated. Herbal teas, fruit-infused water, and a splash of jusce mixed with water are tasty options. You can also enjoy homemade drinks like Aguas Frescas with less sugar or warm soups that keep you refreshed. Try to limit sugary drinks like soda, sweet teas, and sports drinks they can add up fast without really quenching your thirst. Start small: swap one sugary drink a day for water or flavored water, and your body (and your budget) will thank you!

Refreshing Foods That Help You Stay Hydrated

You don't have to drink all your water many fruits and vegetables help keep you hydrated, too! Many fruits and vegetables have lots of water. Add snacks like watermelon, oranges, cucumbers, and strawberries, or include hydrating veggies like lettuce, zucchini, or tomatoes in your meals. These refreshing foods give you fiber, vitamins, and natural flavor with every bite. Broth and soup are also foods that have lots of fluids.

When it's hot outside, or you're moving more like working, walking, or playing your body needs extra water. Keep a water bottle nearby, take breaks in the shade, and snack on water-rich foods like fruit to stay cool and hydrated. Staying ahead of thirst is one of the easiest ways to care for yourself in the heat. Add fruit like lemon or berries to your water to give it more flavor. Try sparkling water for some fizz.
