Mashed Sweet Potatoes
A healthy and creamy side dish of mashed sweet potatoes, full of flavor and perfect for any meal.
Instructions
Serves 4
- 4 small to medium sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- ¼ cup of low-fat milk
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into slices that are 3/4 inch thick.
- Put them in a saucepan with enough water to cover the potatoes.
- Bring the water to a boil on medium heat.
- Cook the potatoes for 20 to 25 minutes until soft.
- Drain then transfer to a mixing bowl and add butter, salt, cinnamon, brown sugar, and milk.
- Serve hot
